Dear God please send down your Holy Spirit upon us so that we may do great deeds.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
Father, you promised to send the Holy Spirit upon those who ask you. (Luke 11: 13). Fill me totally with your Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth and love. Make me a living temple of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
Holy Spirit, you are the spirit of truth, the advocate. I don’t know what to pray for, but you promised to pray for me with groanings too deep for words. (Romans 8:26) Pray for me and pray in me, Holy Spirit! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Holy Spirit, where you are there is freedom (2 Cor. 3:17). Set me free from sin, fill me with your power, your love, and a sound mind. (2 Tim 1:7). Set me free from every fear and anxiety. Make me free to love with your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen
Breathe into me Holy Spirit, that all my thoughts may be holy. Move in me, Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Attract my heart, Holy Spirit, that I may love only what is holy. Strengthen me, Holy Spirit, that I may defend all that is holy. Protect me, Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy. Amen
